Landscape photography in Extreme weather conditions at the Arctic circle

December 4, 2019

A landscape photography adventure in the mountains of Swedish Lapland could have ended in a disaster, the weather can shift so fast one minute its good with sunshine and blue sky and the next its total disaster. When you are in the mountains you really should know how fast the weather can change otherwise you can end up with big problems, you should be prepared with clothes and of course a map so you find your way back.

During this weekend i got to know this the hard way, weather changed so fast and the visibility turned to almost zero just in a few minutes. Luckily i had not so long hike until i was back with my car. The first day of this video started kind of hard.

Second day i got up early to be a part of the beautiful sunrise, sadly the fresh snow had blowed away from the trees during the night otherwise it was perfect. A beautiful calm morning and the temperature was fine to not so cold.

In the end im happy about this weekend and how the pictures turned out

Let me hear about your adventures that may not have gone as planned.

Thank you so much for watching, See you in my next post
